Moss agate is a semi-precious gemstone that's a type of chalcedony quartz. Moss agate is usually milky-white or grey in color, with dark green inclusions that resemble moss, ferns, or other vegetation. The inclusions are made up of manganese and iron oxides, and are not actually moss!
