Individual bumblebee jasper tumble stones, 2.5cm approx.

Bumblebee Jasper is mined in Indonesia from the side of a volcano. The vivid colours are from sulphur and arsenic compounds.  Bumblebee Jasper is not a true jasper but a stone called Travertine and has a calcite base making it soft but brilliant coloured. It is safe to wear but should be kept away from small children who may want to put it in their mouth.
